Adding a contact to the block lists prevents them from contacting your team. This is particularly useful for abusive contacts or spam blocking. Please note that adding a contact to a block list does not prevent your team from sending timely outbound messages or making calls to said contacts, it only prevents the contact from reaching out to your organization.
Here’s how to add contacts to your block list:
- From the Settings page under Your Data section, select DNC List
- On the DNC List index page, click on the Block List tab
- Click on the Actions button and select Add new record(s). This will open the Add to Block List modal
- On the modal, you can search for contacts by name, email, or phone number. You can also select the preferred contacts from the dropdown
- Click Add to DNC List to complete the process
